2 men stabbed overnight in Saskatoon

Police are looking into two separate stabbings reported early Wednesday morning in Saskatoon.

Officers were first called to St. Paul’s Hospital at around 3 a.m. CT after a 26-year-old man went there for treatment of a non-life threatening stab wound.

Police said very little information has been provided about this stabbing.

In the second stabbing, a 20-year-old man was found suffering from stab wounds at a home on Avenue W. He was taken to hospital by MD Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim said he was assaulted by four men at around 3:15 a.m. in an alley at Avenue S and 19th Street West.

Members with the targeted enforcement unit are investigating both stabbings.
