Global News / File

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers made a small change to their practice roster on Tuesday.

The Bombers released national linebacker Herve Tonye-Tonye from the club’s practice roster.

Tonye-Tonye, 28, didn’t appear in any games with the Bombers after joining the team back on July 4. He spent the last four seasons with the Toronto Argonauts after he was selected 24 overall in the 2012 CFL Draft. He appeared in 40 CFL games with the Argos, including all 18 games last season where he had 13 special teams tackles and two forced fumbles.
