Winnipeg Blue Bombers honoured with two weekly CFL awards

WINNIPEG – A pair of Winnipeg Blue Bombers have been named Shaw CFL Top Performers for Week 10 for their part in the team’s 32-18 win over the Montreal Alouettes last Friday.

Running back Andrew Harris and kicker Justin Medlock were both honoured following Winnipeg’s fourth straight victory.

Harris had 16 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown in the win. He also caught five passes for 61 yards. Harris currently leads the league with 575 rushing yards and sits second in yards from scrimmage with 926.

Medlock meanwhile made all six of his field goal attempts including one from 47 yards out. The perfect performance extends his streak to 20 consecutive field goals.

This marks the second time in three weeks the Bombers have taken two of the three weekly awards.
