A Kennebecasis Regional Police officer has been placed under suspension while an unknown investigation is underway, the police service confirms.
Deputy Chief Steve Palmer told Global News the suspension was issued following an internal complaint.

The officer has been taken off active duty but no other details are being released, including the identity of the suspended officer.
An investigation is underway and the suspension will remain in place until the probe is complete.
Kennebecasis is located just outside Saint John.
