Police say man reported missing from Saskatchewan group home has been found

UPDATE: RCMP announced on Friday that George Seegerts has been located

Police are asking for help in locating George Seegerts, who has been reported missing from a Saskatchewan group home.

Seegerts, 29, was last seen at the home near Holbein at around 6:10 p.m. local time on Thursday.

Police said Seegerts has mental health issues that require treatment and also has a leg injury.

He may be hitchhiking to the Muskoday First Nation or Prince Albert.

Seegerts is approximately six-foot one, 200 pounds with brown eyes and a stocky build.

He was last known to be wearing an orange shirt, green shorts, a tan-coloured fleece jacket and glasses.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Seegerts is asked to contact Shellbrook RCMP at 306-747-2606 or their nearest police detachment.
