Five people are facing charges after police seized guns, stolen vehicles and drugs in a Saskatoon bust.

Members of the combined forces special enforcement unit, which investigates organized crime, first arrested a man on Aug. 19 in a parking lot in the 2600-block of 8th Street East for possession of stolen property.

The arrest led to a search of a home in the 800-block of Sutter Crescent by the tactical support unit in the early morning hours of Aug. 20, where they arrested two women.

A 31-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman are facing 20 firearms related charges. The man has also been charged with possession of cocaine and meth for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuana and possession of stolen property.

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with possession of cocaine.

Police also arrested a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman as part of the investigation.

Both were spotted by officers getting out of one stolen vehicle and taking off in a second stolen vehicle.

They were arrested a short time later and are facing possession of stolen property charges along with breach of undertakings.

Police said they seized five firearms, four stolen vehicles, four stolen licence plates and small quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana as a result of their investigation.
