Search and rescue teams in Chilliwack had to use a long line to pull an injured paraglider off Mount Cheam this morning.
The man in his 20s crashed his para glider last night around 7, more than nine hundred meters up the mountain.

He used his cell phone to contact emergency personnel for help.
An RCMP helicopter was able to pinpoint his location, and an armed forces helicopter was sent in to rescue him.
But the helicopter broke down, and the man was forced to spend the night on the mountain.
He has reportedly seriously injured his leg and head, and was taken to hospital.
