A northeast Calgary home was destroyed by a fire Saturday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 4 p.m. after receiving multiple calls.
Officials said they could even see thick black smoke and flames billowing from the roof from their nearby fire station.

There were four people inside at the time but they were able to get out without injuries.
The Calgary Fire Department said it appears the fire started in the rear of the house but they have not confirmed how it started.
Officials continue to investigate.
Fire crews would remain on scene for the rest of the night checking hot spots.
