ISTANBUL – Turkey’s state-run news agency says a Qatari plane has made an emergency landing at Istanbul’s main airport shortly after take-off.
Anadolu Agency said Thursday that Qatar Airways’ Doha-bound plane experienced a technical fault concerning one of its motors, forcing it to return to Ataturk Airport.
According to a tweet from the airline, all passengers disembarked from the plane as normal and without incident.
