Regina police search for suspects in two separate robberies Saturday

Police are searching for a female suspect involved in an armed robbery of a business on south Albert Street.

At around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, police say a woman entered a business in the 4200 block of Albert street, demanding money. The woman indicated that she had a weapon.

According to police, she made off with an unknown amount of cash. There were no injuries relating to the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female with shoulder length brown hair.

She was wearing a dark shirt and dark capris pants.

Eight hours later, police were called to a street robbery and assault that happened in the 4200 block of Dewdney Avenue.

Police say an adult female victim was approached by an unknown man and woman at around 4:30 p.m. The female suspect took the victim’s mp3 player and ran off.

The victim was able to catch the thief and retrieve her device but was assaulted by both the man and the woman in the process. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police described the male suspect as a native male wearing a white shirt, ball cap, and having short hair.

The female suspect is described as wearing a blue dress, brown shoulder length hair and carrying a black purse.

Both suspects were last seen walking north across Dewdney Avenue.
