A float plane crashed into Second Lake south of Nanaimo early this morning.
A 70-year-old pilot was found along the shore of the lake. He received minor injuries.

The plane was badly damaged.
It is not clear what caused the crash, and the Transportation Safety Board is taking over the investigation.
