The second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story dropped during NBC’s Rio Olympics coverage on Thursday night, and Star Wars fans were stoked to see the ultimate villain, Darth Vader, rear his helmeted head once again.
It’s all here: the Death Star, AT-ATs, both Imperial and Rebel ships, gun battles, things exploding, that wailing siren signalling destruction… we even get clues about what’s going on, plot-wise.

It looks like main character Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is being sent on a mission by Rebel forces to steal the plans for the Empire’s latest weapon. Along for the ride is Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Alan Tudyk as new droid K-2SO (who sounds suspiciously like C-3PO) and Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso.
Darth Vader shows up at the last minute in the trailer, but his silhouette in front of the Death Star hologram indicates he’s definitely a part of the Empire’s plan, if not the ultimate mastermind.
