Parks Canada officials have increased their rounds in Banff National Park campgrounds after officials euthanized a wolf that had showed bold behaviour.
It was the second wolf from the Bow Valley pack to be euthanized this year, according to Christina Tricomi from Parks Canada. The wolf was put down Wednesday night after it accessed food from a Banff campsite.

Two hundred people who were camping in tents were moved out of Two Jack campground to Tunnel Mountain on Tuesday because of the wolf, but they were allowed to return as of Thursday.
Twenty charges have also been laid against campers for leaving food or garbage out. The offence comes with a mandatory court appearance and a maximum fine of $25,000.
Parks Canada stresses it is vitally important to not leave food or garage laying around at campsites.
