2 car crash knocks out traffic light in Winnipeg’s West End

WINNIPEG — A traffic light was knocked down following a two vehicle crash in Winnipeg’s West End.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Erin Street and St. Matthews Avenue and the area was closed to traffic.

Winnipeg police and members of the fire crew were on scene.

A City of Winnipeg crew was on scene working to get the traffic light back up.

There’s no official word of any injuries or the cause of the crash.
