Trudeau makes unannounced stop at Okanagan winery

Visitors to an Okanagan winery Friday night got more than they expected when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau showed up.

Trudeau and his wife were spotted by guests at Mission Hill Winery in West Kelowna.

Amy Stewart-Nunn said she was visiting the winery with friends when she noticed police and security presence.

Her hunch that a special guest was about to show up turned out to be right when a motorcade pulled up and the Prime Minister got out along with his family.

They waved to guests and said hello on their way into the winery.

By Sunday, Trudeau had made his way to Vancouver to take part on the annual Pride Parade.
