EMS said ten people were transported to hospital from the 2016 Chasing Summer music festival.
The two-day electronic dance music event was held at Max Bell Centre on Saturday and Sunday.
A spokesperson for Calgary EMS said the patients, who ranged in age from 20s to 30s, were all suffering from issues due to illicit substances or alcohol, and were transported in stable, non-life-threatening condition.
Calgary police issued a warning about the dangers of drug use at summer music festivals just two days before the event.
“Deadly synthetic drugs may be contained within any pill, powder, or tablet you consume,” Calgary Police Service Staff Sgt. Martin Schiavetta said.
Last year, 17 attendees at the Chasing Summer music festival were hospitalized due to drug-related issues.
The previous year, EMS said 10 people were taken to hospital from the event.
