Toronto police say two people are injured after shooting in Toronto’s busy Yonge-Dundas Square.
Police were called at 1:20 a.m. after gunshots rang out at Yonge Street and Dundas Street.
“We have officers that were in the area, patrolling. They were on scene very quickly,” said Const. Craig Brister.
Toronto Police said a 21-year-old man has sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the arm.

A 24-year-old man escorted himself to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There is no information on possible suspects.
Police are asking any witnesses with information to come forward.
The double shooting came just a few hours after two separate stabbing incidents were reported in the Liberty Village and Exhibition area.
At 8:30 p.m., shortly after Caribbean Carnival festivities wrapped up, police were called to Princes’ Boulevard and Newfoundland Road for a stabbing.
One man was transported to a trauma centre for serious, but non-life threatening injuries and a second male was transported to a local hospital with non-serious injuries.
Later that evening, at approximately 10:15 p.m., police responded to calls for a second stabbing at Liberty Street and Jefferson Avenue.
Two men were transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
One victim sustained superficial stab wounds and another victim was being treated for a head injury.
