2 people taken to hospital following accidental shooting in Surrey

Two people now been released from hospital following what appears to be an accidental shooting in Surrey Thursday morning.

RCMP were called to the 10700-block of 135A Street at about 3:10 a.m. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and a second victim nearby.

They also found a firearm. RCMP say the shooting appears to be accidental and was an isolated incident.

Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
