A fire that started Sunday morning at the Greenfield Landfill, just outside Liverpool, N.S., is now considered to be under control.
Crews were called to the area around 9 a.m. Sunday after a report of a fire at the landfill.
Nearly a dozen fire departments were called to the scene to help put out the blaze.

By 1 p.m., officials said they had the fire controlled.
At this time, it’s not known exactly how the fire started.
