York Regional Police are stepping up search efforts for a Richmond Hill woman reported missing since last Friday.
Vanessa Straumann, 29, was last seen leaving her home on July 8 around 5 p.m. in the area of Weldrick Road East and Bayview Avenue.
Police and her family are concerned for her safety and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officers are expanding their ground search on Wednesday with a command post set up in the area of 136 Hillsview Drive.
Straumann is described as white, 5’4″ tall, with a thin build and long, straight, strawberry-blond hair.
