WINNIPEG – A pedestrian struck by a car on Portage Avenue near Berry Street this morning is now listed in unstable condition.
Winnipeg Police say an elderly woman was struck was ‘critically injured’ around 7:40 AM and rushed to hospital. Her condition has since been upgraded to unstable.

The crash closed Portage Ave in both directions in St. James, causing congestion during the morning rush hour.
It has since reopened.
