Cyclist charged in road rage stabbing incident

KELOWNA – Charges have been laid following a Kelowna road rage incident that resulted in a man being stabbed.

On May 21st, a cyclist rode out of a foot path onto Gramiak Road and hit the side of a passing pickup truck.

The driver stopped to offer assistance but the cyclist swore at him and walked away.

Police said the man then returned and threatened the driver’s son.

There was a physical altercation between the two men and the pickup driver was stabbed in the stomach.

Alexander Conn Lewis, 18, has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.
