One man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an early morning shooting outside a south Edmonton high school.
Police were called to a weapons complaint on the north side of Harry Ainlay High School, in the area of 43 Avenue and 111 Street, at around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said a man was shot in the upper body and a suspect fled the scene.
Another man was found in the area suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound. Police said he was asking for help from area residents. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this point it’s not known if the man with the stab wound was involved in the shooting.
The incident is still under investigation.
