MONTREAL – An arrest warrant has been issued for 32-year-old Daniel Landry, wanted in connection with a robbery at a Lachine business last week.
According to police, Landry broke into Acier Century, located at 600, Berge-du-Canal Street in Lachine, on the night of June 27.
Once inside the building, police said the would-be thief removed the metal hinges on a safe containing two ATMs.

The break-in tripped an alarm but the suspectfled the scene shortly before police arrived at around 4 a.m.
Police allege Landry returned to Acier Century the next afternoon and emptied out the ATMs, making off with $124,000.
Police describe Landry as a white man with a medium build, standing 1. 74 metres tall and weighing 73 kilograms. He has blue eyes and light brown hair.
