It came in as a report of two men with a loaded gun at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
Police were called to the mall just after 6 p.m. to investigate. RCMP set up a perimeter around the mall, while plain clothes officers went inside to locate the suspects.

They found two youths with what looked like a gun, but was actually an air soft pistol.
The boys were apprehended without incident and released to their guardians.
