Calgary police are investigating a violent attack in a southwest apartment building.
Officers were called to the 5600 block of 3 Street S.W. at around 10 p.m. on Sunday. They arrived to find a man badly beaten in the hallway of the building.

According to police, the victim said he was assaulted by someone with a golf club before losing consciousness.
Paramedics rushed the man to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition.
