RCMP are looking for a red SUV following an armed robbery in Hodgeville, Sask. Friday morning.

At around 11 a.m. Morse RCMP received two complaints of a robbery at a financial institution in the town.

Police say a man entered the bank with a gun and demanded money. He then fled the building with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen entering a red or burgundy Chevrolet Equinox, officers said.

According to police, the vehicle may have an Alberta or Saskatchewan licence plate. A vehicle matching the description was seen heading north on Highway 19 toward Highway 1 at around 11:45 a.m.

Anyone who has seen a vehicle matching the description is asked to call 306-310-7267 or 911 in an emergency. Police say members of the public should not approach the vehicle or its occupants as the suspect could be armed.
