BELOEIL – A small plane crashed in a field near the Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil airport, reportedly killing the pilot.
The aircraft apparently caught fire after making contact with the ground, shortly before 10 a.m. Friday morning.
The pilot was the only one on board the small plane but Richelieu-Saint-Laurent police have not confirmed his death, as his body has yet to be pulled from the wreckage.
