Police are urging a male suspect wanted for attempted murder to surrender after a man was stabbed in the neck inside a Scarborough bar late Monday evening.
Police say two men were involved in a fight inside the Happy Time Barney’s Bar at Lawrence Avenue East and Susan Street around 11 p.m. when the 44-year-old male stabbed a 53-year-old male multiple times in the neck and arm.
The attacker fled the scene through the front door but officers located the stabbing victim with serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital and remains in stable condition.
Police say both men knew each other. The suspect has been identified as Bryan Danvers who is described as black and 5’10” tall.
