Cocaine, meth seized in Prince Albert, Sask. drug bust

Two people from Prince Albert, Sask., are facing charges after a drug bust in the city. On June 9, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600-block of 28 Street East.

As a result of the investigation, members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET) seized cocaine, methamphetamine and currency.

The man and woman are now facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Louis Bonneau, 32, is also charged with possession of property obtained by crime. He appeared in Prince Albert provincial court on June 10.

Christy Roy, 38, had her court appearance the same day.

The local ISET is made up of members of RCMP and the Prince Albert Police Service.
