Police say they seized a loaded gun following a weapons complaint in Saskatoon.

According to police, they received a report that armed man was selling drugs at a restaurant in the 3500-block of 8th Street.

Police were able to take him into custody without incident.

They also seized a loaded gun the man was allegedly carrying.

He is now facing numerous firearm-related charges including possession of a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with a serial number.

The 26-year-old man is also facing a charge of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

He is scheduled to make his second court appearance on June 7.
