The man who pleaded guilty in a deadly hit-and-run in Port Coquitlam went back before a judge on Wednesday.

Irwin Richard Franz, 75, has pleaded guilty for hitting and killing 16-year-old Annie Leung, then fleeing the scene

Three years ago, Leung was walking home after school when she was hit by Franz’s truck.

Franz stopped and got out of his truck, saw what happened and then drove away. The family made an emotional plea for information and Franz later confessed to being involved.

Crown is now calling for him to spend four to six months in jail.

The judge has postponed sentencing to June 20.
