The Queen City’s skyline is getting an addition as Agriculture Place is now open for business.
The new office tower is located in the heart of downtown at 1820 Hamilton Street.
Mayor Michael Fougere celebrated the new building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, saying it’s an investment toward the future.
“The building is creating long-term commitment from businesses,” Fougere said.
The mayor also added the building would make the area more sustainable.

The building is expected to create more opportunities for businesses to grow their Saskatchewan roots and operations in Regina.
A new addition to Regina’s skyline is the first step towards growth and sustainability.
“People talk about our economy being flat-lined, and not growing but this is growth in our economy. We are doing very well in Regina,” Fougere said.
Farm Credit Canada, CIBC and Stantec will be the primary tenants of the building.
The Government of Saskatchewan said they are committed to this kind of “air-growth” across the province.
The city hopes this new addition will help with their plan for the revitalization of downtown.
“New jobs created, a new investment happening and not just on this site but also around the city,” Fougere said.
“I will say that our downtown development plan has always called for this kind of development.”
