Calgary police are investigating a stabbing in the city’s northwest on Thursday which they believe to be a case of domestic violence.
Armed officers surrounded a home on the 4300 block of Bowness Road after an injured man knocked on a neighbour’s door asking for help.

His wounds were life-threatening, but he was later upgraded to serious condition in hospital.
A woman inside the home was arrested by police at gunpoint.
Charges have not yet been laid.
