A former Kamloops RCMP media relations officer has been charged with drug trafficking.
Forty-year-old Randi Love, who was with the Kamloops detachment since 2009, was charged with dealing cocaine on three different occasions in June of 2015.

An investigation in July 2015 was launched against Love, who was still a member of the force, after allegations were brought forward.
Love was suspended from duty in August and subsequently she submitted her discharge papers in October.
Her first court appearance is schedule for June 16.
