WINNIPEG — A 44-year-old man who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday has died.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. near Archibald Street and Messier Street in St. Boniface.

The man was the only one involved in the crash, police said.

While police haven’t officially determined what caused the crash, officers said speed and a lack of a helmet appear to be contributing factors.
