MONTREAL – Nothing says summer in Montreal like outdoor music festivals and the first one kicked-off the season at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Sunday.
Piknic Électronik brings together thousands of electronic music lovers every year.

The event is all about offering immersive social experiences in a friendly environment– and did we mention celebrating summer?
“Piknic kind of just starts the summer in Montreal,” said Maripierre D’Amour Piknic’s communication’s director. “So folks, it’s started! It’s summer, come and enjoy it.”
Missed today’s Piknic? Don’t worry, it happens at Parc Jean-Drapeau every Sunday from May until October.
Since its debut 14 years ago, the event has expanded to other cities including Barcelona and Dubai.
