Toronto police have charged five teenagers and one man with robbery and firearm-related offences after two incidents in North York.
At around 11:55 p.m. Friday, officers said through a statement the co-accused were travelling together in a vehicle in the Bayview Avenue and York Mills Road area. They allegedly stopped, and while wearing face coverings they approached two men.
One of the accused showed a gun and after the men refused to cooperate, the suspects left the area.

On Saturday at around 12:30 a.m., the co-accused allegedly went to the Leslie Street and York Mills Road area and demanded money and cellphones from two men coming out of a bank.
The group left after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.

After searching the area, police arrested the six suspects.
An 18-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy and four 17-year-old boys all face robbery and firearm-related charges
They were scheduled to appear in a Toronto court on Saturday.
