KELOWNA – A man who allegedly brandished a knife outside the Kelowna law courts now has a court appointment with a judge.
Sheriffs wouldn’t allow the man into the court house Thursday morning because he refused to have his bag searched.

Police say he then stood at the bottom of the steps, allegedly took a knife from his bag, and damaged his bicycle.
Sheriffs made the arrest without incident and called the RCMP.
The 37-year-old Kelowna resident is being held in custody pending a court appearance Friday.
