WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police are searching for two people after a shooting in the downtown area Wednesday.
The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. near Isabel Street and Elgin Avenue.
Police said two groups of men got into a fight, which ended with one person being shot.

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Officers are now looking for two men in their early 20’s.
One is described as Aboriginal in appearance, in his early 20s, about five feet nine inches (175 cm) tall, with a skinny build and short black hair.
The other suspect is described as Aboriginal in appearance, in his early 20s, about five feet ten inches (177 cm) tall, with a medium build and short, black hair.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police.
