Pinetree Secondary School, Douglas College and Pinetree Community Centre were placed under lockdown Wednesday afternoon after an unconfirmed report of a man with a firearm in the area.
The man was allegedly seen shortly after 2 p.m. with a weapon at the corner of Pinetree Way and Guilford Way in Coquitlam.
Coquitlam RCMP lifted the lockdown at approximately 3 p.m. after determining the report to be unfounded.
