RCMP have arrested a 59-year-old man from Sheila, N.B. after he was found with nearly 4,000 contraband cigarettes.
Police say they pilled the man over around 9 a.m. on Friday on Foster Road in Tracadie.

Officers arrested him after finding he was in possession of 3,800 contraband cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man has been released from custody, and is scheduled to appear in Tracadie Provincial Court on August 10 to face charges.
The investigation is continuing.
