Fire bans have been issued Tuesday for both the Town of Cochrane and Rocky View County.
The bans mean no outdoor fires are allowed, including fireworks, fire pits and charcoal barbecues. Burning permits have been suspended until further notice.
Camp stoves and barbecues, including propane or natural gas, are permitted.
The M.D. of Foothills has been under a fire ban since Feb. 9, due to extremely dry conditions. The Longview area, southwest of Calgary, has also been under a ban since last Monday.
