Wine spilled from delivery truck in Penticton intersection crash

 

PENTICTON – A busy intersection in Penticton was temporarily shut down Tuesday morning because of a two vehicle crash.

A car and a flat-deck truck collided at the corner of Government Street and Penticton Avenue.

The impact flipped the truck on its side, spilling some of its load of cases of wine.

The Honda sedan was badly damaged.

At least one person was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Fire crews sprayed down the intersection to wash away wine from broken bottles.
