Two people injured in single vehicle rollover on Highway 1

CALGARY – RCMP were called to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 1 at around 2:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

It happened eastbound on Highway 1, west of the intersection with Highway 40.

There were two people in the vehicle, a man and woman, and police said they were both wearing seatbelts.

One person suffered a serious injury and the other suffered only minor injuries.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

Traffic was diverted to Highway 1x for roughly an hour while police investigated.
