EDMONTON – Global News has learned that Dorian Wandzura will be leaving his position with the City of Edmonton.
Edmonton city manager Linda Cochrane called Wandzura’s departure a mutual parting.
Wandzura will be with the City of Edmonton until the end of April.
Details of Wandzura’s severance will not be discussed, Cochrane said, although she didn’t say why.
Wandzura was hired as the general manager of transportation in June 2013. He was moved into the position of general manager of City Operations earlier this year.

He was at the helm of the Transportation Department as the city worked through the multiple issues which emerged with the Metro Line LRT.

Prior to taking on the position, Wandzura was deputy city manager and chief operating officer with the City of Regina.
Wandzura replaced Bob Boutilier, who retired after holding the transportation general manager position in Edmonton for six years.
