SASKATOON – Tense moments at a Saskatoon building this week were captured on camera. A Monday morning water main break at Cosmopolitan Industries left the facility’s entire main floor in shambles.
Disaster services came to the rescue but the flooding caused major damage.
Flooring, walls and other items have been destroyed and staff are still cleaning up.
“It was chaotic. We were all in here,” said Cosmo executive director Sharlene Duquette.
“We had a berm up here to stop the flow of the water. It started flowing, it was just like a river.”
