In Doctor Strange, the latest superhero movie to whet our nerdy appetites, an accident costs world-famous surgeon Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) his career — or at least he believes it’s over.

Naturally, it’s not, and the good doctor ends up going on a journey to learn the mystic arts from the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) in order to become Marvel‘s Sorcerer Supreme.

Canadian Rachel McAdams co-stars as a fellow surgeon and Mads Mikkelsen is playing the powerful villain that Dr. Strange must defeat.
