The two-month project will consist of road resurfacing, a multi-use path, sidewalk furniture, street trees, street lighting and a decorative fence for the CP Railway property.

Businesses will remain open as usual during the construction period, which is anticipated to be completed by the end of August.

The area’s first significant upgrade includes improvements for vehicle and pedestrian safety and the overall aesthetics of the commercial area while keeping important ties to Sutherland’s lively and significant past.
