Kattoua is being accused of the following:

  • impersonating a police officer
  • using a badge or uniform article worn by police officers
  • intimidating a member of the justice system

The self-proclaimed Taxi Sheriff met with investigators Tuesday following an incident last week where he alleged yelled at a police officer for refusing to arrest an Uber driver.

Kattoua is set to appear back in court April 27, and must meet several conditions until then, including:

  • he cannot wear clothing similar to police officer uniforms
  • he cannot interfere with an Uber driver or passenger
  • he cannot be part of a protest involving Uber
